Say hi to Marek! This handsome boy is six years old. He is battling Standard Risk-High B-cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia (SR-High B-ALL).

After the discovery of a lump on his head in late 2019, and the first half of 2020 is full of hospital trips and medical examinations, Marek was diagnosed on June 11, 2020. At diagnosis, his family was told that has only a 50% chance of survival.

Marek underwent many hospital stays, clinic visits, chemotherapy, medical tests, five phases of intense treatment, and additional maintenance treatments. He is currently in remission!

Marek loves going to school and spending time with his friends and family. His favorite animal is a frog. He loves to pet them if he finds one outside, and gets really excited for books, toys, stuffed animals, and anything else with frogs on them. His nickname on his CKSC jersey is “Froggy”.
