Meet Mollie! This incredible little girl is eight years old. Mollie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on July 30, 2020.

Mollie’s diagnosis came after making three visits to her general practitioner and four visits to the hospital over a three-month period. She was experiencing severe rib and leg pain. After multiple tests, doctors finally confirmed she had Leukemia. Mollie began treatment right away. In September 2020, Mollie reached remission! She is currently in the maintenance phase of treatment, which includes seven cycles of chemotherapy. Mollie is expected to finish treatment in September 2022!

Mollie loves making Lego Friends and collecting her Beads of Courage.

 

Our lively energetic little girl who has always been known for not being able to sit still is now struggling to walk more than a few meters.

 

She has been through things already that NO child should ever have to go through…it is truly heartbreaking, but she’s taking it all in her stride.
