Give a warm CKSC welcome to Soleil! This little fighter is one year old. Soleil was diagnosed with a brain tumor on June 2, 2020, at just 10 months of age.

The very same day Soleil was diagnosed with cancer, she underwent surgery to remove the mass on her brain. In July 2020 Soleil completed her first round of chemotherapy.

This past March Soleil reached a major milestone! She had her Hickman (central line) removed. To date, Soleil has fought through having an external ventricular drain, a complete brain tumor resection, a lumbar puncture, six cycles of aggressive chemo, three stem cell transplants, a port placement and removal, and two Hickman placements. As of March 11, 2020, Soleil is officially cancer-free!
