Jocelyn's Journey

Meet Jocelyn! This incredible girl is eight years old. Jocelyn was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in September 2019.

Jocelyn’s treatment plan is intense. It required a 30 day stay in the hospital to undergo induction treatment, eight months of continued outpatient chemotherapy treatments plus two years of additional maintenance treatment. Jocelyn finished frontline chemotherapy at the end of May and is currently in the maintenance phase of her treatment.

Jocelyn is beautiful both inside and out! She was described to us by her family as, “A fun loving little girl with a quick wit, a sneaky smile and a genuine love for animals. Jocelyn has brought joy to everyone who has met her!” Jocelyn enjoys scoring goals for her LA Galaxy soccer team, swimming circles around her dad and mom and playing for hours with her dog Sally.

Jocelyn comes from one tough family. Unfortunately, “cancer” is not a foreign word to Jocelyn seeing as how her mom recently battled Ovarian Cancer. However, this courageous family is determined and full of hope and faith. They are committed to this fight and lean on each other to get through these hardships.
