Say hi to Lea! This beautiful little girl is seven years old. Lea was diagnosed with Wilms Nephroblastoma on July 22, 2014. She was diagnosed just one month shy of her second birthday.
Lea joins the CKSC team from Croatia. She received eight months of chemotherapy treatment from the children’s hospital in Rijeka, Croatia. In addition, she travelled to Padua, Italy where she underwent surgery to remove her right kidney. March 25, 2020 marked the five-year anniversary of Lea’s last chemotherapy treatment! Her mom says, “Lea is our hero!’
Lea is currently in first grade and loves her school and classmates! Her favorite subjects are English and Art. Lea also enjoys music and is learning to play basketball as well.
