Smart Griffin

Share

We are honored to introduce Griffin, our newest KKC Teammate! This little boy is two years old. Griffin is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Griffin was diagnosed with cancer this past November while living in Germany, where his father was stationed with the military. Within 12 hours of receiving his diagnosis, Griffin and his mother were on a plane headed to Memphis, TN in order for him to receive treatment at St. Jude. Griffin’s mom informed us that, “so far he has been slow to respond to treatment, however, we are in fantastic hands at St. Jude and they have a plan.” Unfortunately, the cancer treatment Griffin is receiving has ravaged his little body taking away his ability to walk. On a positive note, however, Griffin is not discouraged by this or letting it bring him down. He is working hard in physical therapy to get back to where he once was!

The military was able to get Griffin’s dad a temporary assignment working at the University of Memphis. We are proud to report that his entire family has now relocated to Memphis, TN where they will be living for the next three years while Griffin is being treated.

Never forget what an incredibly brave warrior you are! We pray that God continues to give you the strength and stamina you need to finish this race strong.

An Inspiration

Griffin is described as, “a smart mischievous little boy who could cleverly beat any type of child lock or contraption.” Griffin’s cleverness has earned him the nickname “Trash Panda.” One day Griffin hopes to follow in his older brother and sister’s footsteps and play soccer!

Griffin, we are so proud of the fight that you are putting up! You are an inspiration to countless people. Never forget what an incredibly brave warrior you are! We pray that God continues to give you the strength and stamina you need to finish this race strong. You’ve got this buddy! 🎗⚽️
