Please help us give a warm welcome to Josiah! This brave fighter is three years old. In 2018 at just one and a half years of age, Josiah was diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma.
Josiah’s doctors discovered a softball-sized tumor in his abdominal area. He was treated at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where he underwent 54 weeks of chemotherapy treatment and 36 rounds of proton radiation therapy. During his fight against cancer, Josiah was also diagnosed with NF1, Neurofibromatosis, which later caused bilateral optic gliomas.
After a long and hard fight, Josiah was officially declared to have No Evidence of Disease on May 14, 2019! Josiah continues to go back to St. Jude every three months for follow up appointments and scans.
